đŸŒ± The Vegan Community đŸŒ»

People working together in a strong community
with a shared goal and a common purpose
can make the impossible possible.

Tom Vilsack

If you think we can't change the world,
it just means you're not one of those who will.

Jacque Fresco

The time will come when men such as I
will look upon the murder of animals
as they now look upon the murder of men.

Leonardo da Vinci

Think about what your skills are, and what you
enjoy doing, or what you're good at and
employ those specific skills to make
the world a better place.

Jo-Anne McArthur

Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked,
in which you can walk with love and reverence.

Henry David Thoreau

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to
the whole community and as long as I live,
it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.

George Bernard Shaw

The key is to keep company only with people who
uplift you, whose presence calls forth your best.

Epictetus

All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Arthur Schopenhauer

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful,
committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

Margaret Mead

A man can live and be healthy without killing
animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat,
he participates in taking life merely
for the sake of his appetite.
And to act so is immoral.

Leo Tolstoy

You meet saints everywhere.
They are people behaving decently
in an indecent society.

Kurt Vonnegut

We can judge the heart of a man
by his treatment of animals.

Immanuel Kant

The thing that's annoying about there suddenly
being a lot of vegans is the nagging suspicion
that they might be right.

David Mitchell

You can judge a man's true character by
the way he treats his fellow animals.

Paul McCartney

I'm so proud to be a vegan.
It's the best decision I have ever made.
For my health and for the world and
for the sake of decency and compassion.

Paul Wesley

Being vegan helped me realize I can say and do
what I believe is right. That's powerful.

Alicia Silverstone

Truth has to be repeated constantly,
because Error also is being preached all the time,
and not just by a few, but by the multitude. In
the Press, Encyclopaedias, in Schools and
Universities, everywhere Error holds sway,
feeling happy and comfortable in
the knowledge of having Majority on its side.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

We are all victims of the violence that animals
suffer... their liberation is also our liberation.

George Bernard Shaw

My awareness of belonging to the invisible
community of those who strive for truth,
beauty and justice has prevented me
from feelings of isolation.

Albert Einstein

Be the change you want to see in the world.
Mahatma Gandhi

People who say things like "I can't worry
about animals when there are humans
who need help" tend to do f*ck all
to help humans neither...
Kindness is kindness. Simple as that.

Ricky Gervais

My life is my message.
Mahatma Gandhi

We are only as strong as we are united,
as weak as we are divided.

J.K. Rowling

The day the power of love overrules the love
of power, the world will know peace.

Mahatma Gandhi

Write Your Own Story đŸȘ·

The most important relationship we can all have
is the one you have with yourself, the most
important journey you can take is one of
self-discovery. To know yourself, you must
spend time with yourself, you must not
be afraid to be alone. Knowing yourself
is the beginning of all wisdom.

Aristotle

It's not the events of our lives that shape us,
but our beliefs as to what those events mean.

Tony Robbins

Humans think in stories, and we try to
make sense of the world by telling stories.

Yuval Noah Harari

The stories we tell literally make the world.
If you want to change the world,
you need to change your story.

Michael Margolis

Habits are the way you embody identity.
True behavior change is really identity change.

James Clear

The mind and the body imprint each other.
What we think, we become.
What we become, we think.

Edgar Cayce

A season of loneliness and isolation
is when the caterpillar gets its wings.

Mandy Hale

It is a gift to not fit in. It sets you on a journey
of finding a sanctuary within yourself.

Brianna Wiest

Modern man lives under the illusion that he
knows what he wants, while he actually wants
what he is supposed to want. In order to accept
this it is necessary to realize that to know
what one really wants is not comparatively
easy, as most people think, but one of the most
difficult problems any being has to solve.
It is a task we frantically try to avoid
by accepting ready-made goals as though
they were our own.

Erich Fromm

We pursue external goals
to hit an internal emotional target.

Mastin Kipp

People are always angry at anyone who
chooses individual standards for his life;
because of the extraordinary treatment which
that man grants to himself, they feel degraded,
like ordinary beings.

Nietzsche

The person who follows the crowd will usually go
no further than the crowd. The person who
walks alone is likely to find himself in places
no one has ever seen before.

Albert Einstein

I much prefer the sharpest criticism of a single
intelligent man to the thoughtless approval
of the masses.

Johannes Kepler

1. Write down and practice your values.
2. Build a practice of contemplation.
3. Read. Expose yourself to people who had deeper thoughts than you.

You feel lonely not because nobody
is with you but because you are
not with you.

Shams Tabrizi

- Leave room for the unexpected.
- Find your unique way to contribute to someone's life.
- Set interesting goals and challenge yourself. Never stop learning.
- Slow down to appreciate what you already have.
- Fill your free time with meaningful hobbies.

Do not spoil what you have
by desiring what you have not;
remember that what you now have
was once among the things you only hoped for.

Epicurus

We live in a world where funerals are more
important than the deceased, marriage is more
important than love, looks are more important
than the soul. We live in a packaging
culture that despise content.

Sir Anthony Hopkins

Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead
where there is no path and leave a trail.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

I don't know what your destiny will be,
but one thing I know: the only ones among you
who will be really happy are those
who sought and found how to serve.

Albert Schweitzer

Du ska tacka dina gudar,
om de tvingar dig att gÄ
dÀr du inga fotspÄr
har att lita pÄ.

Du ska tacka dina gudar,
om de gör all skam till din.
Du fÄr söka tillflykt
lite lÀngre in.

Det som hela vÀrlden dömer
reder sig ibland rÀtt vÀl.
FÄgelfri var mÄngen,
vann sin egen sjÀl.

Den som tvingas ut i vildskog
ser med nyfödd syn pÄ allt,
och han smakar tacksam
livets bröd och salt.

Du ska tacka dina gudar,
nÀr de bryter bort ditt skal.
Verklighet och kÀrna
blir ditt enda val.

The Measure of Man

The measure of a man is
what he does with power.

Plato

Human greatness does not lie in wealth
or power but in character and goodness.

Anne Frank

The human being cannot live in a condition
of emptiness for very long: if he is not growing
toward something, he does not merely stagnate;
the pent-up potentialities turn into morbidity
and despair, and eventually into
destructive activities.

Rollo May

No man is more unhappy than he who never
faces adversity. For he is not permitted
to prove himself.

Seneca

The greatness of a man is not in how much
wealth he acquires, but in his integrity
and his ability to affect those
around him positively.

Bob Marley

A life without self-reflection and exploration
is not one worth living.

Socrates

Only a man who knows what it is like to be
defeated can reach down to the bottom of
his soul and come up with the extra
ounce of power it takes to win
when the match is even.

Muhammad Ali

The obedient always thinks of themselves
as virtuous rather than cowardly.

George Carlin

Making the simple complicated is commonplace;
making the complicated simple, awesomely
simple, that's creativity.

Charles Mingus

You are in danger of living a life so comfortable
and soft, that you will die without ever
realizing your true potential.

David Goggins

Excellence in anything increases
your potential in everything.

Joe Rogan

The key to happiness doesn't lay in numbers in a
bank account but in the way we make others feel
and the way they make us feel.

Joe Rogan

measured by the objects he pursues.

where he stands in moment of comfort
and convenience, but where he stands
at times of challenge and controversy.

My strength is my compassion.

the universe will conspire to support you.

Rich Roll

We can judge the heart of a man

Man is an animal with primary instincts
of survival. Consequently his ingenuity
has developed first and his soul afterwards.
The progress of science is far ahead
of man's ethical behavior.

Charlie Chaplin

We should be measured by how we treat
the most vulnerable and powerless
in our society.

Cory Booker

Compassion for animals is intimately associated
with goodness of character, and it may be
confidently asserted that he who is cruel
to animals cannot be a good man.

Arthur Schopenhauer

Man's highest duty is to protect
animals from cruelty.

Émile Zola

As long as man continues to be the ruthless
destroyer of other living beings, he will never
know health ot peace. For as long as men
massacre animals, they will kill each other.
Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder
and pain cannot reap joy and love.

Pythagoras

From beasts we scorn as soulless,

In forest, field and den,

The cry goes up to witness,

The soullessness of men.

M. Frida Hartley

Whoever fights monsters should see to it that
in the process he does not become a monster.
And if you gaze long enough into an abyss,
the abyss will gaze back into you.

distinction between good and evil.

Anatole France

Chaos was the law of nature;
order was the dream of man.

Henry Adams

There comes a time when one must choose
between contemplation and action.
This is called becoming a man.

Wokism & Infighting

The task is not, so much to see what no one
has seen yet; but to think what nobody has
thought yet, about that which everybody sees.

Arthur Schopenhauer

If you have men who will exclude any of God's
creatures from the shelter of compassion,
you will have men who will deal
 likewise with their fellow men.

St. Francis of Assisi

irrelevant criterion to block membership
in the moral community.

People who say things like "I can't worry
about animals when there are humans

Kindness is kindness. Simple as that.

Ricky Gervais

Act so as to use humanity, yourself and others,
always as an end and never as a means
to an end.

Immanuel Kant

The animals of the world exist for their own
reasons. They were not made for humans
any more than black people were made
for white, or women created for men.

Alice Walker

The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct
him to hold in higher esteem those who think
alike than those who think differently.

Friedrich Nietzsche

Strong minds discuss ideas,
average minds discuss events,
weak minds discuss people.

I'm not entitled to have an opinion unless
I can state the arguments against my position
better than the people who are in opposition.
I am qualified to speak only when
I've reached that state.

as effectively as those who love war.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Then I became that woman.

Step away from everyhing that hardens you.

- Soften your tone of voice. Have a calm, melodic, soothing and sweet tone. Breath and relax. Think before you speak. Speak slower and lower your voice. Pay attention to what voice your use when you speak to different people and why.

- Rebrand yourself. Don't let others hold you down.

- Practice good manners. Say "please", "thank you", "excuse me" and "you're welcome". Make eye contact. Mind your tone. Be sincere, kind and humble. Treat everyone with the same respect. Show reverence for each and every one of God's creatures.

- Soften your environment. Add flowers, scents and music.

- Spend time with yourself. Slow down.

- Spirituality & healing. Humble yourself. Practice love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Repent.

- Get up at 4 AM or 5 AM.
 - Say affirmations. Use empowering language.
- Write down what you're grateful for and why. Journal.
- Be present. Slow down.
- Keep your environment clean.
- Pamper yourself.
- Have a playlist of music, videos, interviews, speeches etc. that's empowering for you.
- Look soft. Soft colors & feminine clothes. Perfume, nailpolish. Do your hair. Smile.
- Be vulnerable and honest. Take responsibility and apologize.
- Think for yourself.
- Be open-minded and non-judgemental.
- Look for the good in everything & everyone.
- Rejoice in the success of others.
- Remain unbothered. Don't absorb other people's negative energy.
- Focus on your personal goals.

You become what you give your attention to.
Epictetus

A seed grows with no sound, but a tree falls
with a huge noise. Destruction has noise,
but creation is quiet.

Confucius

We first make our habits,
and then our habits make us.

John Dryden

Ja visst gör det ont nÀr knoppar brister.
Varför skulle annars vÄren tveka?
Varför skulle all vÄr heta lÀngtan

Karin Boye
