Attraction over Promotion 🏡️

Be the change you want to see in the world.
Mahatma Gandhi

We change the world not by what we say or do
but as a consequence of what we have become.

David R. Hawkins

By choosing ourselves, we are creating
an image of what human beings should be.

Jean Paul Sartre

The world is changed by your example,
not by your opinion.

Paulo Coelho

People almost invariably arrive at their beliefs
not on the basis of proof but on the basis of
what they find attractive.

Blaise Pascal

It is the best decision I've ever made
and I've enjoyed it so much more
than I could have ever expected.
It feels good to do the right thing.

Lucy Watson

It's the best decision I have ever made.
For my health and for the world and
for the sake of decency and compassion.

Paul Wesley

Let your life be your argument.
Albert Schweitzer

Every person I have met who has gone vegan
says it is the best decision they have ever made.

Lewis Hamilton

Being vegan is the right thing for yourself
and for the planet and animals.

Lenny Kravitz

Becoming vegan was the biggest change ever
made in my life, and one of the greatest
accomplishments as well.

Woody Harrelson

I am not going to teach it unless I live it.
John C. Maxwell

Respect life and life will respect you.
Love life and love will shower blessings on you.

Rajneesh

My goal is to bring people together through
good food without harming animals.

Omari McQueen

Food is our common ground,
a universal experience.

James Beard

If we begin with ourselves and do the things that
we need to do and become the best person
we can be, we have a much better chance
of changing the world for the better.

Aleksandr Solzjenitsyn

My life is my message.
Mahatma Gandhi

Being vegan helped me realize I can say and do
what I believe is right. That's powerful.

Alicia Silverstone

I am an artist at living -
my work of art is my life.

My Personal Choice

It is our choice of good or evil
that determines our character,
not our opinion about good or evil.

Aristotle

What do your choices say about you?

In matters of conscience,
the law of the majority has no place.

Mahatma Gandhi

A great number of our decisions are not
really our own but are suggested to us from
the outside; we have succeeded in persuading
ourselves that it is we who made the decision,
whereas we have actually conformed with
expectations of others, driven by the fear
of isolation and by threats to our comfort.

Erich Fromm

The content of your character is your choice.
Day by day, what you choose, what you think
and what you do is who you become.

Heraclitus

It is not what we think or feel that makes us
who we are. It's what we do. Or fail to do.

Jane Austen

The thinking person must oppose all cruel
customs, no matter how deeply rooted
in tradition and surrounded by a halo.
When we have a choice, we must
avoid bringing torment and injury
into the life of another.

Albert Schweitzer

What you do makes a difference,
and you have to decide what kind
of difference you want to make.

Jane Goodall

We all have choices to make. I choose to love,
to be conscious of what I'm supporting
and I refuse to support the companies
killing and torturing animals.

Lewis Hamilton

Asking vegans to respect your choice
to eat animals is on par with asking feminists
to respect sexists, asking people of color
to respect racists and asking homosexuals
to respect homophobes. It is ludicrous to think
that difference in opinion warrants mutual
respect, when the opposing opinion
in question appropriates suffering,
defends oppression and encourages
the continuance of exploitation.

Felix Sampson

Human beings are not machines,
and however powerful the pressure to conform,
they sometimes are so moved by what
they see as injustice that they dare
to declare their independence.
In that historical possibility lies hope.

Howard Zinn

What we think, or what we know, or what we
believe is, in the end, of little consequence.
The only consequence is what we do.

John Ruskin

The line separating good and evil passes
not through states, nor between political
parties either - but right through
every human heart.

Alexandr Solzhenitsyn

If your choices are beautiful,
so too will you be.

Epictetus

Vegans in Media

Many people, especially ignorant people,
want to punish you for speaking the truth,
for being correct, for being you.
Never apologize for being correct,
or for being years ahead of your time.
If you're right and you know it,
speak your mind.
Even if you are a minority of one,
the truth is still the truth.

Mahatma Gandhi

Never, never be afraid to do what's right,
especially if the well-being of person
or animal is at stake. Society's punishments
are small compared to the wounds we inflict
on our soul when we look the other way.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

The further a society drifts from the truth,
the more it will hate those who speak it.

George Orwell

The truth is that people are brainwashed into
thinking that it's normal to consume animals.
They are so uncomfortable with confronting
what happens to those animals because
they are part and parcel of that cruelty.

Juliet Gellatley

Our grandchildren will ask us one day:
Where were you during the Holocaust
of the animals? What did you do against
those horrifying crimes? We won't be
able to offer the same excuse for
the second time, that we didn't know.

Helmut Kaplan

Animal rights is a part of my everyday life.
When you live by example, you create a
certain level of awareness. People I have
never discussed veganism with are adopting
new habits because they see it.

Joaquin Phoenix

You meet saints everywhere.
They are people behaving decently
in an indecent society.

Kurt Vonnegut

I cannot teach anybody anything.
I can only make them think.

Socrates

The thing that's annoying about there suddenly
being a lot of vegans is the nagging suspicion
that they might be right.

David Mitchell

You should not honor men more than truth.
Plato

We are not living in a private world of our own.
Everything we say and do and think
has its effect on everything around us.

John Galsworthy

You either approve of violence or you don't,
and nothing on Earth is more violent
or extreme than the meat industry.

Morrissey

First, they ignore you, then they laugh at you,
then they fight you, then you win.

Mahatma Gandhi

I have seen firsthand how injustice
gets overlooked when the victims are
powerless or vulnerable, when they have
no one to speak up for them and no means of
representing themselves to higher authority.
Animals are in precisely that position.
Unless we speak out on their behalf,
abuse and cruelty goes unchallenged.

Desmond Tutu

The treatment of animals by the food industry
is so excessively heartless, and such an affront
to natural justice, that we who by our silence
tacitly consent to these outrages deserve to
be shocked out of our sleep. In the long run,
Mr. Yourofsky may well be doing us
a moral service by confronting us, by
the spectacle of the crimes we participate in.

John Maxwell Coetzee

If it's not good enough for your eyes,
why is it good enough for your stomach?

Gary Yourofsky

The truth will set you free.
But first, it will piss you off.

Gloria Steinem

🌍 Know Your Why πŸ’š

He who has a why to live for
can bear almost any how.

Friedrich Nietzsche

Eating for me is how you proclaim your beliefs
three times a day. Three times a day I remind
myself that I value life and I do not want to
cause pain to or kill other living beings.
That is why I eat the way I do.

Nathalie Portman

There comes a time when one must take
a position that is neither safe, nor popular,
but he must take it because conscience
tells him it is right.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Nothing will benefit human health and
increase the chances for survival of life on Earth
as much as the evolution to a vegan diet.
If the whole world adopts veganism,
it can change the destiny of humankind.

Albert Einstein

Be nice to the environment.
Be nice to animals.
Be nice to people.
If you do that, you will leave
a mark on the world.

Enock Maregesi

While we ourselves are the living graves of
murdered animals, how can we expect
any ideal living conditions on this earth?

George Bernard Shaw

I show my love for animals by not eating them
or participating in any business that profits
directly from their exploitation.

Mayim Bialik

We change the world not by what we say or do
but as a consequence of what we have become.

David R. Hawkins

Be the change you want to see in the world.
Mahatma Gandhi

My own view is that being vegan is not an end
in itself, but a means towards reducing both
human and animal suffering and leaving
a habitable planet to future generations.

Peter Singer

If people understood that for two minutes
of pleasure, there is a lifetime of suffering.

Khaled bin Alwaleed

Once I learned about how animals are treated
in our industrial food system, I didn't
want any part of it.

Billie Eilish

If you don't have it in your heart to help animals,
then just leave them alone and do no harm.

Katie Cleary

This is why I am vegan;
I don't support the barbaric treatment
and slaughtering of millions of animals.
I don't support this industry.

Lewis Hamilton

When people ask me why I don't eat animal
products I say, 'Because they are unhealthy
and they are the product of a violent and
inhumane industry.'

Casey Affleck

Your beliefs become your thoughts,
your thoughts become your words,
you words become your actions,
your actions become your habits,
your habits become your values,
your values become your destiny.

Mahatma Gandhi

If you look at the climate crisis or the violence
of our food system and feel helpless, thinking
'I wish there was something I could do'
- you can. Right now.

Joaquin Phoenix

Being vegan for me is about trying to live a life
where I'm not contributing to the cruelty
in the world.

Someone Not Something

The animals of the world exist for their own
reasons. They were not made for humans
any more than black people were made
for white, or women created for men.

Alice Walker

Animals are my friends...
and I don't eat my friends.

George Bernard Shaw

The problem is that humans have victimized
animals to such a degree that they are
not even considered victims.
They are not considered at all.

Gary Yourofsky

Animals are not ours to eat, wear,
experiment on, use for entertainment
or for any exploitative purpose.

Sharon Gannon

Once we accept this view of animals - as our
resources - the rest is as predictable
as it is regrettable.

Tom Reagan

The soul is the same in all living creatures,
although the body of each is different.

Hippocrates

Anyone who moves is not
supposed to be eaten.

Bob Marley

I don't see why someone should lose their life
just so you can have a snack.

Russell Brand

I hold that the more helpless a creature,
the more entitled it is to protection
by man from the cruelty of man.

Mahatma Gandhi

The soul given to each of us is moved by
the same living spirit that moves the Universe.

Albert Einstein

In every living being there is the desire for love.
D.H. Lawrence

There is no fundamental difference between man
and animals in their ability to feel pleasure
and pain, happiness and misery.

Charles Darwin

We've objectified certain animals so much
that we refer to them as 'livestock'.
'Stock' that just so happens to be alive.
An inconvenience that they were
even alive to begin with.

Ed Winters

I don’t want to eat anything that had a mother.
Fred Rogers

The pain that we cause is the cause of our pain.
Leif Erikson

Jo Frederiks

Every bit of meat, chicken or fish you eat,
every bit of leather or fur you wear,
has come from an animal that has
been tortured, pulled away from their
family and brutally killed.

Lewis Hamilton

Only those who are capable of loving strongly
can also suffer great sorrow, but this same
necessity of loving serves to counteract
their grief and heals them.

Leo Tolstoy

One should not kill a living being,
nor cause anyone to be killed,
nor should one incite another to kill.
Do not injure any being,
either strong or weak, in the world.

Buddha

The world is not a factory and
animals are not products for our use.

Arthur Schopenhauer

Feminine Energy 🌺

Life is not a problem to be solved,
but a mystery to be lived.
Follow the path that is no path,
follow your bliss.

Joseph Campbell

We have a tendency to think in terms of doing
and not in terms of being... Our time is first
of all for us to be... To be alive, to be peaceful,
to be joyful, to be loving. And that is what
the world needs most.

Thich Nhat Hanh

You surrender to love;
you do not accomplish love by willpower.

Richard Rohr

Vulnerability is the core of shame and fear
and our struggle for worthiness, but
it appears it's also the birthplace of joy,
of creativity, of belonging, of love.

BrenΓ© Brown

- Creativity.

- Appearance (skirts/dresses, heels, bright & soft colors that amplify your skintone, soft materials, hair accessories, jewelry, makeup, nailpolish, handbags, gloves).
- Smile (be a pleasure to be around).
- Vulnerability (heal yourself).

1. Radiance (a childlike spirit, self-care).
2. Inner joy (smile, gratitude).
3. Creativity (beautify yourself & the world around you).

1. Cleanliness (routines & schedules).
2. Warmth (empathy & kindness, eye contact & presence, listening).
3. Movement.

1. Vulnerability

Create all the happiness you are able to create;
remove all the misery you are able to remove.
Every day will allow you, will invite you to
add something to the pleasure of others,
or to diminish something of their pains.

Jeremy Bentham

Humility is the foundation of all virtues,
for it allows us to approach every situation
with an open mind and a willingness
to learn from others.

Marcus Aurelius

There are two ways through life:
the way of Nature and the way of Grace.
You have to decide which one you'll follow.

Terrence Malick

A woman's health is her capital.
Harriet Beecher Stowe

Outer work (nurture yourself)

- Spend time with yourself. Get 8 hours sleep per night. Have a self care-day every week. Pamper yourself or go to a professional.

- Make your home/personal space look feminine. Decorate with flowers & feminine colors. Light candles, play relaxing music. Seduce your senses.

- Always look your best. Smile. Plan trips. Do creative things.

- Read books that help you grow.

Inner work (journal)

- Reflect on your day/week. What did you do? How did you treat people? What happened and why did it happen? What do you need to change? What can you learn? How do you contribute to others? What can you do? How can you improve yourself? Focus on one thing at a time. Slowly incorporate new habits into your life.

- Visualize. Write down what you want to have/experience/achieve in the next 3 years of your life. Imagine yourself having and doing the things that you're working towards. Make a vision board. Pray about it. Believe.

- Evaluate people in your life. Are they adding value to your life? How do they influence you? Who do you want to be? What do you like/dislike? Decide what your priorities are. Set boundaries. You teach people how to treat you. Break free from people and habits that's hurting you.

- Focus on gratitude.

The habits, thought patterns, and perceptions
you display will be amplified in the years
to come. Don't practice what you don't
want to become.

J.Mike Fields

Curiosity is one of the forms of feminine bravery.
Victor Hugo

1. Be still & present. Indulge your senses. Allow people to help you.

3. Have fun. Laugh. Do something different. Take care of yourself. Love your body.
4. Embrace your emotions - but don't act out. Listen to your intuition.
5. Explore your creativity. Discover your talents. Find your purpose.

Inspiration exists, but it has
to find you working.

Pablo Picasso

creation; the embodiment of love,
compassion and nurturing.

Lisa Michaels

Harm no other beings.
They are just your brothers and sisters.

Buddha

We're exploiting female bodies and abusing
the magic of female animals
to create eggs and milk.

Nathalie Portman

Competition is the law of the jungle,
but cooperation is the law of civilization.

Peter Kropotkin

The universe experiences itself through you
for a brief moment called life.

Eckhart Tolle
